Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Whoish (“the App”) on macOS or iPadOS, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Whoish is a domain and network analysis tool providing DNS inspection, WHOIS lookups, SSL/TLS certificate analysis, HTTP header security scoring, email security verification (SPF/DKIM/DMARC), Certificate Transparency subdomain discovery, favorites monitoring, and report export.

All lookups and checks are performed from your device using publicly available internet protocols and services.

Use Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Use the App to harass, abuse, attack, or disrupt any network, domain, or server
• Perform lookups in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for abusive automated bulk scanning, distributed denial of service, or scraping

Accuracy of Information

Lookup results are provided “as is” and “as available” from public data sources (including DNS resolvers, WHOIS registries, RDAP registries, Certificate Transparency logs, and target domain web servers).

Whoish does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information displayed. Results may be affected by DNS propagation, network timeouts, registry privacy redactions (e.g. GDPR), or server availability.

In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

The App offers a free tier (10 lookups per day and 1 monitored favorite) and a Pro upgrade (available as an annual subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase).

Pro unlocks:

• Unlimited daily domain lookups
• Certificate Transparency subdomain discovery
• Professional PDF report generation and sharing
• Unlimited favorites monitoring with change alerts

All transactions and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms, billing cycles, and refund policies.

Intellectual Property

Whoish and its original code, design, features, and branding are owned by Tony Svensson and are protected by copyright law.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tony Svensson shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden.
